Kick Off: “Welcome to the Laponia region”

13-15 May 2008 the official kick-off meetings were held. The aim of the meetings was to gather the N4C team and give an introduction to the northern part of Sweden and the Sámi peoples economic and cultural conditions. The reason for making an official work shop of the meeting was to present the team to official representatives for the two municipalities in Sweden (Gällivare and Jokkmokk) and to get press and other media coverage of the project.

13-14 May 2008 Luleå University of technology (LTU)
